Reneé Roscoe-Morrison, MA, LMFT
Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist and Prepare/Enrich Facilitator in Hoffman Estates and Warrenville, IL
We all have an instinctive need to connect with others and our true selves. Unfortunately, sometimes we or the people who love us “get it wrong” and this leaves us puzzled, frustrated, hurt, and even hopeless. The feeling or understanding that “this is not the way it’s supposed to be” is the first step towards seeking wholeness. I consider it an honor to try to guide people on their path as they seek wholeness, truth, joy, and deeply meaningful connection with themselves and with others.
Renee Roscoe-Morrison specializes in counseling couples and families. Call (888) 870-1775 to arrange for an appointment with her.
I believe that the relationship between therapist and client is integral to this process and to positive therapeutic outcomes. As part of the process, I enjoy empowering clients to discover their own creative potential in addressing the life issues they are facing. To this end, I tailor therapy to suit each person’s distinctive needs and desired well-being.
For over a decade (before and during my therapeutic training), I have worked with hundreds of children and their parents in the field of music. In particular, opportunities to work with very young children, beginning at four months and extending through five years of age, have given me valuable perspectives on developmental, familial, and parenting issues. These experiences have prepared me to serve children, parents, and entire families in my practice.
In addition to serving children, I am interested in the issues of grief and loss, depression, post-partum depression, trauma, anxiety, ADHD, and the repercussions of these issues in the dynamics of the family. As a Prepare/Enrich facilitator, I am trained to work with couples who want to prepare themselves for marriage or improve their current relationship.
