I am a clinical social worker who has worked in clinical and non-clinical settings for over twenty years. I have a breadth of experience working with people experiencing a range of problems and issues including depression, anxiety, adjustment issues and chronic mental illness.

In my practice, I believe in providing a safe place where clients feel comfortable talking about themselves and the sensitive issues they face. When an environment of safety is established, therapy can proceed to help a person understand themselves better and the factors leading to their distress. I follow an eclectic approach in my practice with the intention of meeting the client where they are and providing the therapy that best meets their particular situation and needs.

I received my Master’s in Social Work from Salem State College in 1998 and have worked in community mental health agencies, hospital and retirement communities, and outpatient settings. I am an avid runner, completing several marathons. I’ve found that the qualities of perseverance, patience and a desire to improve in the field of running, translate well to our life experiences in general.
