Hi, my name is Chisato. I am a Licensed Independent Social Worker dedicated to working with people going through challenging times in their lives. It’s an incredible honor and opportunity to help others navigate their journey of healing. I dedicate myself to assisting those who suffer from mental health disorders by equipping them with skills and creating an atmosphere based on encouragement and hope to maneuver through life everyday life.

I graduated from the University of Iowa in 2007 with a degree in Social Work and Art, and in 2016 with a Master’s in Social Work. I specialize in stress and anxiety, depression, low self-esteem, new adjustments or life transitions, and the overcoming of acute and complex traumatic experiences.

Managing emotional stress created by relationships, school, work, family, or other personal issues can oftentimes be an overwhelming and difficult experience to not only deal with but comprehend. But I’m here to help.
