I attended Capella University and received my Master’s in Clinical Mental Health Counseling. I have provided Professional Mental Health Services to a wide range of client populations from all different walks of life including adults, adolescents, and children.

They say no two snowflakes are the same…so why should our life experiences be any different? Your difficulties, struggles, and pain are valid and they are unique to you. My role is to be a resource that you collaborate with to assist you in reaching your true ideal self.

My therapeutic approaches are unique to the needs of all my clients. Some therapeutic techniques I use include person centered, cognitive behavioral, and strength based to name a few. I provide a safe, nurturing, and non-judgmental space where you as the client can come to tell your story and be heard.

Your trauma, your pain, and your struggles have all shaped you to be who you are, how you react, and how you perceive things. During our time together I will work with you to have a better understanding and awareness into these different areas of your life.

My role is to be a resource to encourage you to consider new perspectives, gain insights, and work to change thought patterns that may be contributing to some of your life’s difficulties. Then you as the expert of self can decide what thoughts, feelings, or behaviors no longer serve you. The road to making those decisions may be a hard one, but I will be there as a support to you the whole way through. We will spend our time discovering what works for you in rebuilding, remodeling, or changing your current situation into what you really want.

My experience in the field includes working with therapeutic topics such as: anxiety, life changes, relationship difficulties, personal identity issues, depression, anger, grief, and self-harm. I have experience working with children, adolescents, and young adults from a range of cultural backgrounds, gender identities, and sexual orientations. I am open and accepting of all backgrounds; while also being aware the need to work and challenge my biases continuously.
