Nutashia specializes in treating post traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), couples therapy and the confidential treatment of sexual issues.
Nutashia's practice is centered on guiding clients in the creation of the most fulfilling relationships and lives possible.
In addition to her extensive experience and training in couples and sex therapy, Nutashia has spent over a decade in the Social Service field working with both children and their families helping them to address their desire to better cope with personal and professional stress, acute or chronic illness, anxiety, depression, family conflicts trauma and life transitions.
Primarily Nutashia believes that there should not be a one size fits all approach to therapy. Nutashia uses Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), hypnotherapy, aroma therapy, and both traditional/non-traditional locations for therapy sessions to help her clients overcome many of the obstacles they are facing.
Nutashia is a graduate of Argosy University’s Masters of Arts program in Professional Counseling as well as The Florida Sex Therapy Institute we she completed post Graduate Certification in Sex Therapy.
Nutashia is currently completing her coursework from Capella University where she will obtain her Doctoral Degree in Counseling Studies. Nutashia is a member of the American Counseling Association (ACA), American Association of Sexuality Educators, Counselors and Therapists (AASECT), and National Board for Certified Counselors (NCC).
