Marriage and Family Therapist

Location: Omaha Nebraska

Hello! My name is Brian and I am a Marriage and Family Therapist who specializes in marital conflict, parenting issues, divorce adjustment, but enjoys working with many other difficult issues as well. In 2009, I graduated from Abilene Christian University with a Masters in Marriage and Family Therapy and Christian Ministry. Currently, I am a practicing Marriage and Family Therapist serving the Omaha Nebraska area.

I am a therapist because I believe that change can happen and any person or relationship can be healed. I believe this because I have seen it. No matter how bad your situation may seem, you are always bigger than your problem and there is always an open door if you are willing to take it.

My goal in therapy is not to fix you. You are not broken. You are stuck and my goal is to get you unstuck. Through our partnership, we will shine light on the issues that plague your life and make changes that lead toward progress.

As my client, you will be in control of the process. We will tackle the issues you wish to tackle and I will act as your guide. I will only give advice when asked and will never coerce you or take one person's side over another. You are still the expert of your life.

My hope is that you will bring your belief system into the therapy room with you. How you see the world directly affects your decisions. As a follower of Christ, my faith is my core. However, I will not bring up subjects of faith unless they are particularly relevant or you wish to explore that avenue. Although I am most familiar with Christianity, I also have some experience with Islam, Buddhism, Hinduism, and many other worldviews.

Finally, please seek the assistance of a therapist before it becomes too late. The longer you wait, the more hopeless your situation may seem. Don't allow yourself to build up any more resentment or despair. Make the decision to see a therapist today so that the healing can begin.
