Internet counseling

Internet counseling allows you to find the best therapist to meet your needs even if they are not where you live.

Online counseling also allows for families to receive therapy as a group even if some members of the family are not living in the same area.

At other times, phone and/or internet therapy can be a useful tool. For example, if you have to travel for work reasons or you are unable to easily move about for some reason.

At the Ardent Center, we have found internet therapy a very useful medium. Web cameras allow us to communicate as easily as if we were face to face and services such as Skype make this very easy. Currently they are free to use. They also ensures that our conversations are encrypted and therefore are secure and private.

So even if you are located outside of Illinois, we may be able to do phone and Internet video-conferencing consultations with you.
