Jennifer Filicky, MA
Psychotherapist
Jennifer is a graduate of the Chicago School of Professional
Psychology with a Masters degree in Clinical Counseling. Jennifer
has experience in working with a variety of anxiety and depressive
disorders. She has worked extensively with the Latino population
and has interests in working with adolescents and acculturation.
Jennifer has experience working with individuals, couples, and
families of all age groups.
Prior to receiving her Masters degree, Jennifer conducted Developmental
Psychology research and became a lab manager for The Ohio State
University. Jennifer also spent many years working in the corporate/business
world.
Jennifer has an interest in sex therapy and working with people
with a variety of sexual expression. Jennifer is a sex positive
therapist with training in alternative sexualities. She comes
from an Existential/Humanistic background and believes very strongly
in the healing power of the therapeutic relationship. Jennifer
believes in doing whatever is necessary for her clients and is
very excited to be joining the Ardent Center.
Jennifer is a member of the American Psychological Association
and the American Association of Sex Educators, Counselors, and
Therapists.
